To address the increasing need for affordable housing in Rhode Island, Crossroads plans to develop more than 300 apartments for the most vulnerable in our community.

There has never been a more acute need for safe, dignified and affordable housing in Rhode Island.

Lingering economics from COVID-19, lack of affordable apartments and rapidly escalating rents have created a significant increase in the homeless population. The most vulnerable in our community continue to struggle with poverty, hunger and housing instability.

Crossroads knows the solution: create more housing that people with very low incomes can afford. The below projects are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of people who are experiencing homelessness and who have often been without a home for some time.
