Since 1894, we’ve been serving some of the most vulnerable people in our state. Today, we are the leading provider of housing and homeless services in Rhode Island.

How We Started

Founded in 1894 as The Travelers Aid Committee of the YWCA to assist vulnerable women, traveling to Providence. Crossroads has been serving those in need for over 125 years.

Our mission has since evolved to help individuals and families in need overcome their homelessness.
