In-kind donations* are critical to our clients. From personal care items to gift cards, these donations provide individuals and families with the items they need to overcome their homelessness once and for all.

Below are items that we are currently in need of.

In-Kind Needs

Urgent Need:

  • Gift cards: Grocery stores, general merchandise stores, etc.
  • Winter coats, winter gloves, and winter hats
  • Handwarmers
  • Toiletries (full-size and travel-size shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, personal care items)
  • Sweatshirts and Sweatpants
  • Underwear (men's, women's, children's, all sizes)
  • Toilet paper and paper towels
  • Bath towels
  • Sheets (twin and full)
  • Pots and pans
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Flip flops

Always Need:

  • Laundry supplies (detergent, fabric softener, etc.)
  • Plungers
  • Shower curtains
  • Bed linens, pillows, blankets
  • Dishes and utensils
  • Laundry baskets
  • Baby formula
  • Baby wipes
  • Diapers (size 5 and up)
  • Trash bags
  • Non-perishable food (unexpired)
  • Moving boxes and packing tape
  • Gym shorts for men

Please note that we are unable to accept used items of any kind.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept items like the following:

  • Used clothing, linens, or toiletries
  • Used toys or stuffed animals
  • Furniture and mattresses
  • Car seats, breast pumps, cribs or other used baby accessories

If you have these items that you would like to donate, we highly recommend reaching out to the United Way Helpline, which can be reached by dialing 211, as they may be able to recommend an organization that can accept the above items.
