Oliver and his service dog Belle lived on the streets before coming to Crossroads. Now he has a place to call home. Watch his story here!

“I didn’t know what I was going to do. I didn’t know where I was going to go.”
Oliver owned just one change of clothes. The rest of his backpack was full of items for Belle — his seizure-alert dog who is critical to helping Oliver manage his health condition. Being homeless was hard enough, but worrying about his best friend made it even worse for Oliver.
“There’s no way I could have lived outside in the wintertime with Belle,” Oliver says. “And I literally can’t live without her.”
That's when Oliver came to Crossroads. Here he was able to get the help and support he and Belle needed to find a place to call home.
Oliver is now off the streets for good. He relishes being able to cook in his own apartment. But what he loves most is walking Belle and being able to say to her, “Let’s go home.”
“This location is my home. My HOME. I love to say that!” Oliver says, beaming. “I can’t thank the people at Crossroads enough for helping me find a place to call home.”
