In celebration of Financial Literacy Month, Crossroads partnered with several banks and a credit union to empower our staff and clients with essential financial knowledge earlier this week.
At our Financial Resources Fair, attendees gained valuable insights on avoiding unnecessary fees, improving or repairing credit, and accessing culturally competent financial services.
One of our GED students shared his appreciation for learning about “second chance” programs that support individuals in rebuilding their credit—and he was especially excited to win a raffle prize for his participation!
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Bank of America, BankRI, Bristol County Savings Bank, Centreville Bank, Citizens, Navigant Credit Union, Santander, and TD Bank for their unwavering commitment to enhancing the financial well-being of our residents, shelter guests, and adult education students.
Through our education and employment programs, Crossroads empowers clients to improve their income and take meaningful steps toward self-sustainability.
