Clearing the Way for Health & Housing

Big changes are happening at the site of our former shelter at 371 Pine Street! Last month, we broke ground on our Health & Housing Apartments—an innovative new development that will create 35 fully accessible permanent supportive apartments for medically vulnerable adults experiencing homelessness.

Once complete in late 2026, Crossroads' Health & Housing Apartments will offer more than just a place to live—they will include a healing garden and space for co-located health and behavioral health providers. This project is part of Crossroads’ larger effort to create 300 permanent supportive apartments in Providence.
