Women Helping Women
Thank you for joining us in celebrating 125 years of helping Rhode Island's most vulnerable women at our Twelfth Annual Women Helping Women fundraising event! The event, held on Wednesday, April 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Graduate Providence (previously the Providence Biltmore), invited guests to enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeurves and the opportunity to network with over 350 prominent women in the community while helping women in need.
As an event hosted by women, for women, your participation and support of this event helped nearly 1,000 women experiencing homelessness in Rhode Island find safety, self-sufficiency and success through access to emergency shelter, housing, case management and education and employment services at Crossroads.
At its very start in 1894, Crossroads (then Traveler's Aid) sought to help women in need succeed, providing assistance from shelter, to transportation, to employment. 125 years later, Crossroads still strives to help Rhode Island's most vulnerable women overcome their struggles with housing, emergency shelter and education and employment services. None of that would be possible without people like you!
Weren't able to attend but would like to support women in need? Consider you making a donation to Crossroads.
