Welcome Home Kits
Each individual or family that Crossroads help move into housing receives a Welcome Home Kit. These kits are laundry baskets filled with essential items that help their new living space feel like home. We rely on donations from our generous donors and sponsors to create these kits for the men, women and children we serve.
While each kit may vary based on the needs of each household, we are looking for donations the following items:
- Dishes and utensils
- Cleaning supplies (disinfectants, broom, etc.)
- Laundry supplies (detergent, fabric softener, etc.)
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Shower curtains
- Toiletries (full-size shampoo, conditioner, soap, razors, personal care items)

Gift card donations to Crossroads allow individuals and families participating in our program to self-sufficiently shop for essential items. Your donation of a gift card can help a newly-housed family buy food for the week, an individual in shelter have access to winter weather supplies or teachers in our education program purchase supplies for their class.
