Crossroads Apartments
A complex of 57 units located in North Kingstown provides permanent, subsidized housing and wrap-around support for families with two or more children. On-site services include intensive case management, parenting, nutrition and budgeting skills development, education, job training and placement assistance, individual and family counseling, transportation, recreational activities, and the provision of emergency clothing, furniture and food. Last year, 57 families including 164 children benefited from this program.
The Operation First Step Emergency Assessment Shelter
Our main headquarters on Broad Street houses Operation First Step, which provides shelter and support services to 20 persons new to homelessness. The goal of the shelter is to assist clients in finding other appropriate shelter or housing within 30 days of their arrival at Crossroads.
The Women's Shelter at Crossroads
Our new Women’s Shelter, also located at our main headquarters, provides service-enriched shelter for 41 women who can remain as guests until they are connected to housing and support services.

Family Center Emergency and Transitional Apartments
Located at scattered sites throughout Providence, Crossroads provides service-enriched supportive housing for 20 homeless families. The program lasts for up to two years, when the families are able to move into their own permanent housing.
Crossroads’ Citizens Bank Family Center
Located in Providence, opened in 2006 in response to the growing number of families who were turned away from state shelters already at capacity. The Family Center provides emergency food, shelter and support services for up to 15 homeless families. The site also includes 5 permanent supportive housing units for families.

Permanent Supportive Housing Program
Our permanent supportive housing program offers 16 apartments for formerly homeless disabled adults, providing them with case management, counseling, budgeting/financial assistance, medical care, and job training/placement at our Broad Street location.
Housing Tower
Also located at 160 Broad Street, the Tower provides 176 single room occupancy units of permanent housing for formerly homeless low-income individuals. One floor, with 22 units, houses women residents only.
The Harold Lewis House Located in West Warwick, the Harold Lewis House provides permanent supportive housing for up to 12 previously homeless individuals age 55 and over who are disabled and chronically homeless. We provide supportive services for all residents as well.
