The Anne Nolan Endowment Fund
Established by Crossroads in 2015 upon Anne Nolan's retirement as President, The Anne Nolan Endowment Fund promises to continue the legacy of an inspirational leader and advocate for the homeless.
To honor Anne for her 15 years of service as President and CEO, Crossroads Rhode Island established The Anne Nolan Endowment Fund. Under Anne's leadership, Crossroads was transformed from a small social services agency to the largest provider of shelter and services for homeless men, women, and children in Rhode Island, and one of the nation's most innovative homeless services organizations.
In her first year as President, Anne instituted the organization's core values of Safety, Respect, and Effectiveness and opened our first Family Center. Over the next 14 years, Anne's leadership and dedication resulted in:
- The launch of our new mission: Securing stable homes.
- The number of housing units we operate increasing from 60 to 400.
- Crossroads Rhode Island having the capacity to serve almost 3,000 people annually as they move out of homelessness.
- A tripled annual budget.
- Annual fundraising increasing by over 700%.
Anne's dedication to Crossroads Rhode Island and passion for ending homelessness has had a profound impact on our organization and countless lives. With the Anne Nolan Endowment Fund, we are ensuring that Anne's legacy will a lasting one which will continue to support our mission for years to come.
