CNA Students Studying
Crossroads has graduated 100 classes of CNA students who go on to become employed in the medical field.

CNA Training prepares students to pass the state of Rhode Island's CNA exam. Students receive seven weeks of classroom and hands-on instruction by a Registered Nurse, as well as CPR certification. Our Employment Specialists help the graduates find and keep their jobs – a critical step in their path towards independence.

The CNA training program at Crossroads Rhode Island is effective because:

  • Students have access to wrap-around services to assist them in overcoming barriers to completing the program and/or securing employment;
  • Employment skills are incorporated into the training.  They include interviewing, job search and resume writing;
  • Each session includes a Career Day that allows students to meet with prospective employers and learn about their application process, what they look for in an interview and what they expect of employees.
  • Classes run Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.
