Adult Education and GED Preparation

The Learning Center at Crossroads Rhode Island offers:

Woman helping a student.
Personalized learning plans and instruction provide a safe environment for adults who may struggle in traditional classroom settings.
  • High school credentialing (GED)
  • Adult literacy
  • Math Instruction
  • Remedial help for students in other training programs

The Learning Center at Crossroads is quite different from other adult education programs.  What differentiates our program is that instruction is personalized and self-paced with instruction given in small groups and one-on-one.

We ask our students to commit to at least four hours a week to work towards meeting their identified learning goals.  In order to successfully obtain a GED, a student must pass 5 tests, and preparation for these tests could take over a year.

A New Start

"I am proud to tell people that I am a student at Crossroads because their training gave me a new start and hope for my family."
