The Reality of Homelessness

What if you were homeless? Most experiencing homelessness never thought they’d be in the situation they are in now. Explore below and discover the reality of homelessness.

The Cost

Homelessness is a traumatic experience and getting out of it can seem overwhelming and impossible, particularly for a person with limited or no income. In order for a person to end their homelessness on their own, they often have to consider financial factors such as:

  • The cost of securing a new apartment (first month's rent + security deposit)
  • The cost of transportation to and from work
  • The cost of daily life (food, personal care, clothing, etc.)

Help us meet the costs of ending homelessness.
