Report on Aging and Homelessness, 2013

Growing Old Without a Home

In the U.S., the number of homeless adults over age 50 is increasing rapidly and more elderly people are newly homeless than ever before. The National Alliance to End Homelessness estimates that the number of homeless adults over 50 years of age will double by 2050.

In our 2013 Report on Aging and Homelessness (PDF, 2.6MB), you will learn more about the growing population of homeless individuals 50 years of age and older, the unique problems that they face, and what we do at Crossroads to help the aging homeless in the Rhode Island area.
